PROGRAM

The program commences in Phase 1, focusing on the validation of the Unmet Need among participants. This phase entails the exploration of key Stakeholders’ Value Proposition and Product attributes, which have the potential to reshape medical practices upon adoption. Once a significant Unmet Need is substantiated, the participants then delve into assessing the product’s capacity to secure the essential funding required for market entry—a critical facet we refer to as Business viability.

Phase 2 encompasses a comprehensive exploration of all aspects related to commercialization. This phase involves diving into areas such as Key Experiments, Regulatory and Reimbursement strategies, Intellectual Property considerations, Scale-Up Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing strategies, Competition analysis, milestone delineation, timeline planning, and funding requisites essential for successfully navigating the path to market entry.

Each participating team is paired with a dedicated Senior Business Advisor and a Program Manager who conduct weekly virtual meetings to guide the teams through the various activities required to prepare a compelling Venture Capital (VC) pitch. Towards the program’s conclusion, teams undergo rigorous pitch practice sessions with the invaluable support of expert coaches.

Throughout the program’s duration, teams have multiple opportunities to present their projects to a panel of esteemed Senior Business Advisors, each bringing a diverse array of perspectives to enrich the development process.

Additionally, teams participate in an initial Virtual Kickoff Meeting, followed by an in-person, intensive 2 1/2-day meeting. The program culminates with a final presentation, akin to a VC pitch, where teams showcase their innovative biomedical solutions to potential stakeholders and investors.
